We hear about it all the time – Tall Poppy Syndrome. Apparently it’s endemic. We constantly deplore it and denounce it and yet we enforce it with the same breath. Or do we? Where does this perception come from and is it quite as pervasive as we perceive it to be? We don’t have the answers, sorry, but we do want to start a discussions. We’ll start with Jessica Desmond’s musings.
